Selling food online through platforms like Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit, Zepto, Dunzo, Instagram, and WhatsApp requires a valid FSSAI License. This license is mandatory for cloud kitchens, home kitchens, bakeries, tiffin services, restaurants, and all types of online food sellers.
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulates food safety and hygiene across India, ensuring that all food businesses follow proper standards. Online platforms allow onboarding only after verifying a valid FSSAI Registration or License.
